Mithridatism (the practice of protecting oneself against a poison by gradually self-administering non-lethal amounts).

It was created by Mithridates IV of Pontus (the bust).

It was paracticed by Rasputin (the beard).

In Chandragupta Maurya's time, it was used to make vishakanyas who would be used to slay the king's enemies, as sleeping with them is considered mortally fatal (Chanakya was Maurya's adviser).

one of my 1st questions

chanakya gave small doses of poison to courtesans such that their bodily fluids would become poisonous to anyone who came in contact with them

rasputin indulged in the rpactise, hence the cyanide used to kil him had no effect

& thats pontius 6, king of mithridiates
