Some advance quiz announcements.

IIT Delhi
In all there will be 7 quizzes.
There'll be 6 Quizzes under the Quizzing Club plus the annual Nobel
Quiz which is being organized by Sweden Embassy.
Rendezvous IIT Delhi's annual cultural fest is back and is being held
frm 21st -24th October. Celebrating our Golden Jubilee, Quizzing is
going to get bigger than ever before with the following quizzes being
held during Rendezvous 2010
.
1. Jeopardy

One of the standard fixtures of Rendezvous over the years, Jeopardy
has developed into one of the most popular events on the roster.

· Teams of 3 members(max), College I-Cards are must.

· Quizmaster : Kedar Shastry from 3xus

· Date & Time : 22nd October, 9 AM

· Venue: 6LT2

2. Mastermind

For the first time in Rendezvous, we have Mastermind with a format
based on the popular TV quiz show by the same name.

· Individual Quiz(ONLY COLLEGE STUDENTS)

· Prelims : 22nd October, 2 PM, 4LT3

· Finals : 24th October, 5 PM, Seminar Hall

3)Kombat

Kombat does not comprise of the list of events that contribute to the
inter- college points tally.

· Teams of atmost 3 members.

4. Sports Quiz

The quiz for the sport enthusiasts Sports Quiz is the only genre
specific quiz in Rendezvous.

5. Sphinx

Sphinx is the flagship intercollegiate Quizzing Club event of Rendezvous.

6. Zoom In

Zoom In is the Audio- Visual quiz on the roster.

Quiz :- UCMS AVALANCHE QUIZ 2010

Venue:- Lecture Theatre 1, University College of Medical Sciences, Dilshad Garden, New Delhi

Type:- Entertainment quiz, with a prelims round and a final round consisting of infinite bounce type of questionnaire.

Team Composition:- The teams are supposed to be of 2 individuals. All college entries allowed. And cross-college entries allowed as well.

Date 23rd September 2010

Time 3:00 PM.

Access The easiest access route is through Jhilmil Metro Station on Red Line. Ask the rickshaw pullers for GTB Hospital College building to reach the place.

Quiz:- The IEEE Student Branch, BVCOE will be conducting the fourth Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Rotating Shield inter-college quiz

Date :- 24th September 2010

Type:- General Quiz

Rules : The quiz will be conducted over three rounds in a pyramid format. The top 30 teams from the prelims will go through to a second round, from where the top 6 teams qualify for the final round.The questions would be audio-visual as well as written.

Prizes :- Prize money worth Rs. 10,000 to be won. The top 30 teams will receive certificates.

Team Composition :- Teams of maximum two members. Cross-college teams are allowed.

Venue : Auditorium
