IIT Bombay shall host the largest inter-institutional quiz in India, The “Techfest National Open Quiz 2011-12”. With a prize money of INR 1,00,000 for the grand finale and much more interesting prizes this quiz aims to bring together the best quizzers from across the nation.

The NSIT Quiz Fest, 2010

Hola ! We are back with the second edition of NSIT's Quiz Fest. Last year's effort saw decent participation - about 250 teams turning up over the course of the one and a half day fest. This year we plan to do 4 main quizzes as last time - Business, General (Open), Sports and MELA, alongwith 4 filler quizzes - India, Music, Mythology and Sci-tech.

The Main quizzes shall have the normal prelims+finals format. The filler quizzes will be completely written.

In addition, we shall be doing an Online Quiz. Details regarding it shall be put up on the blog shortly.

Itinerary for the Fest :

2. Starting 1^st February, 0000 hrs, 3 Questions will be uploaded daily on the NSIT Quiz Blog.

3. The questions will remain open for a day, and answers are to be posted as comments on the blog itself.

4. The person who gets the maximum correct questions in the minimum time at the end of the Series will be declared the winner.

5. The series is open to all.

Slowly the Quizzing Season has started with the regular shadys being interspersed with a few good ones.

The Good One:       

Hansraj History Society History and Culture Quiz

Visited this one expecting a very shady affair.But Roerich and team at Hansraj certainly had it covered at all ends. What could have been a drab affair was turned into a Good Quiz. There were a couple of repeats here and there,a couple of Bloopers like the non-photoshopped question but then aren't we all guilty of that.

Format:- 20 Questions Prelims+ Finals with a Delhi+India+Asia+World and then a Special Round.

Prizes:- 2+1.5K which if fulfilled by tomorrow should make it even better.

Hansraj is doing 2 quizzes back to back on the 12th--starting at 10 in the morning-General and Entertainment as part of their fest. The Quizmasters are Inhouse so it should be a good affair.

Quite a few quizzes coming up on the horizon. 4-6 quizzes tomorrow itself.Details are either too non-specific or constantly changing or too many ;)

So land up in North Campus and there should be a good number waiting.
