Lebron James became the first black man to appear on a magazine cover but the cover was claimed to be perpetuting racial stereotypes:with James striking a gorilla like pose,baring his teeth(with the other arm around Giselle Bundchen's waist)..

The cover is featuring LeBron James and Gisele Bundchen. It actually plays into the old stereotype of the black man as a savage in search of a prized white woman. Some say it evokes the dreaded imagery of King Kong
