3. "Call of Ktulu" is based on "The Call of Cthulhu".
Wikipedia says this about "The Shadow Over Innsmouth".
The story inspired the song "The Thing That Should Not Be", released on Metallica's third album Master of Puppets, as well as the song "Endsmouth" by Agents of Oblivion. There is also a Dominican black metal band named Innsmouth.
If I'm not mistaken, "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" doesn't mention Cthulhu. It was about Dagon or something. I hate HP Lovecraft. Someone summarised it all some time back, and it was all so that we could understand 'The Superiority of Metallica'. I haven't heard Metallica since.
Anyone ever read Lovecraft? Can you confirm?
13. Wikipedia - "....The name was constructed by combining the Greek "kuklos" (circle) with "clan."...."
Which I can confirm I have read in at least two accounts of the society of post Civil War America. -
