It's that time of the year

X is a universally known tune and according to the Guinness Book of World Records, it is the most recognized song in English. Its melody comes from the song “Good Morning to All”, a song composed for kindergarten children during the 1800s. In 1935, it was copyrighted by the Summy Company which were later bought by Warner Music in 1988. Many legal battles have since then ensued over its copyright status with many claiming that such a famous tune cannot be copyrighted. On 6 August 2013, the Curiosity rover on Mars made X the first song ever to be beamed back to earth from another planet. Id X.
