Congo, where the 'rumble in the jungle' was held, is one of the hotspots of UN peacekeeping

Angelina Jolie is a UN ambassador

The Peace palace at the Hague is the headquarters of The International Court of Justice

Mata Amritanandamayi is one of the few Indians who have spoken at the UN general assembly.

IAEA- UN body

Natwar Singh lost his ministership because of his involvement in the UN oil-for-food programme scam.
