The first...I guess the connect is The Mahabharata.<br /><br />The first pic is of Barbarika or Khatu Shyamji. He was the son of Ghatotkacha. He was a powerful warrior and wanted to join the weaker side in the war. To cut a long story short Lord Krishna intervened and asked for his head as a sacrifice to the battlefield. His head was placed on the top of a hill to see the war<br /><br />The second pic is of Sanjay narrating the events of the war to Dhritarashtra.<br /><br />The third pic is of Lord Krishna and Arjuna blowing their conches to signal the start of war.<br /><br />The fourth pic is Lord Hanuman. He was present on the flag atop Arjuna's chariot to protect and stabilize it.<br /><br />Incidentally, Arjuna's chariot was reduced to ashes as soon as Lord Krishna and Lord Hanuman stepped off the chariot at the end of the war.
