Answer: This is Henrietta Lacks, who was an African-American woman who was the unwitting source of cells (from her cancerous tumor), which were cultured by George Otto Gey to create an immortal cell line for medical research, called the HeLa cell line.

She's Henrietta Lacks! We guys came through Med school reading about HeLa cells :) They are named after her!
These cells originated from her cervical cancer!
