Don't You See Any Irony?

Simply connect and tell me the irony.

ANSWER: The connect is Bethlehem Steel Corporation. The irony being that Bethlehem is the birthplace of Jesus, signifying peace while they were a major supplier of weapons during the world wars.
Nice try by Digant though only thebloggernextdoor got it right.

Well, I'm not too sure, but I'll still give it a go. To enter Jerusalem, a walled city, you had to pass through a particular gate. The Eastern Gate was also known as the Golden Gate and it was prophesied that the messiah would enter through this gate. The irony is that though Jesus entered through this gate to celebration as the messiah, it was this entry that led to his crucifixion.
