Connect

Answer :

(Note to self : Perhaps adding a pic of Pritam, or Anu Malik might have made it simpler. )

The connect is Jorge Luis Borges' work Pierre Menard, author of Don Quixote.
In this work, Borges describes a fictional author Pierre Menard, who has absorbed himself in Cervantes' work to such an extent that he has been able to produce a verbatim version of Don Quixote which is his own act of creation.[Yes, many of you may at this point say, WTF ?]

Inspired, Italo Calvino made it the plot line of his If on a Winter's Night a Traveller. Hunter S. Thomson went a step further and typed down whole of The Great Gatsby before starting off with any of his own works.

Abhinav gets it. Great work !

The pics are those of Italo Calvino, Hunter S. Thompson and Don Quixote. Haven't the foggiest about the connection.

Copying a famous novel in order to gain energy for your own writing?
Something Italo Calvino did in "If on a Winter Nights Traveller".Hunter S Thompson retyped the whole of The Great Gatsby.
First pic has something to do with Jose Luis Borges' Pierre Menard, author of Don Quixote where this technique(?) was first used.
