Geoffrey Chaucer ?

1. Canterbury ground - Canterbury Tales
2. Westminster Abbey - was buried there
3. dunno
4. Pic of Geoffrey Chaucer
5. Pic of Thomas Becket??

I'm just blindly guessing cos I recognised Geoffrey Chaucer's pic from the wiki page.

Seeing as how probably none of us on the blog have ever read Canterbury tales, or have any knowledge of it other than wiki-tidbits, I'd have to say that this is a bit on the difficult side i.e. not possible without google.

What about

1. The cricket ground at Canterbury (the famous lime tree inside the ground)
2. Canterbury cathedral
3. Pic about Canterbury tales

4 & 5, as Jaideep guessed, Chaucer and Beckett in some order.

Most of you got the word correct 'Cantebury'

1. Cantebury Cricket ground, homeground of countyside Kent.
2. Cantebury Castle
3. Cantebury Tales
4. (by) Geoffrey Chauser
5. St. Augustine of Cantebury. The First Archbishop of Cantebury

Not castle but cathedral. See the images of both in wikipedia :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canterbury_Castle
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canterbury_Cathedral

And you missed the "r" in Canterbury.
