One Shot
(1st pic) The band A, along with B (2nd from left, in background) created an album C (pic 2) in 1975, which was named after D, a beach(pic 3) in California. As an additional hint, the album also shares its name with a filipino comic book character(pic 4) and a popular puzzle game.

After severe clue giving - Zuma, by Neil Diamond and the Crazy Horse Band (who knew they had a name?)

correct it is... :)
small correction though, the band is Crazy Horse with Neil Young, not Neil diamond. Neil Young collaborated more famously with CSN (Crosby Stills and Nash) to form CSNY. -
