1-Paul Brunton wrote a book on Ramana Maharshi The Search in Secret India, which brought the Arunachalam saint into western notice.
2- Henri Cartier-Bresson, famous photographer, has a collection of photos on Ramana Maharshi.
3- Paramahansa Yogananda has a chapter dedicated to his meeting with Ramana Maharshi in his Autobiography of a Yogi.
4- Somerset Maugham's The Razor's Edge had the character of a spiritual guru based loosely on Ramana Maharshi.
