Panache-"Bawana waalon ki quiz"

Feb 21,2004. SA vs NZ 3rd ODI:

South Africa needs 26 runs off last 5 balls. Shaun Pollock at the crease and Kyle mills bowling.

First ball is a dot. The second ball is full toss and Pollock cracks it for a six over cover.
Third ball, Pollock takes 2. 18 needed off 3 balls now.
4th ball, Pollock smacks a big six over long on.
5th ball, Pollock smacks another one over long on.

Kyle mills is looking all desperate now. 6 needed off the last ball. Mills runs up, fires a yorker, Pollock misses. Pollock gives Mills a wide faced grin.

Our situation at Panache was somewhat like that of Pollock. We were last till the last round, and 4 questions (and 70 points) later, in contention to come 2nd.
And then we missed 2 and ended up 4th. Damn.

But a great quizzing experience. Quite a bit of thrill. And finally, a quiz at DCE that was well planned and had fairly good questions.

All in all, a nice experience, though I still wait for the day when I'll reach home for dinner after a quiz at DCE.

And, unfortunately, I have forgotten all the questions now. You'll find them on nsit-qc in another day or two.

Till then,

Yes. sorry for missing the point of free dinner. I admit it was quite gracious of you guys. Its just that my parents werent too amused when I landed up home at 11.30.

and yes, I dont really mind if you mention NSIT to be in Nawada but do not refuse me the chance to call DCE-ites "BAWANA BOYS".

:D

Thanks again for working your asses off to make a great quiz.
