Quiz Quiz Ki Kismat

Am posting the quiz I made for the last quiz club meet. Have plagiarised 2-3 questions from quiznet archives as I was running short of time and ideas.Enjoy!

1. Rajendra Pachauri, 66 is an excellent medium-pacer , having taken more than 350 wickets in corporate cricket. The India Today reports that his statement that bikinis in Rio nowadays resemble dental floss has caused him some embarrassment. He is currently famous for holding a very important post due to which he is being taken rather seriously all over the world. Which post does he hold?

2. Although it had already celebrated its seventh birthday, _________was then asked to name it. Put on the spot slightly, he paused for a few moments, stared at the court dust, and then replied: "Juliette." Quite why remained a mystery last night. There were suggestions that the name may have recalled a former girlfriend with whom he is no longer on speaking terms. But those who were shouting "Martina! Martina!" as a suggestion were just being unkind. _________has a choice: he can either take Juliette home, or leave her in the Gstaad meadows - they will post him the cheese on a regular basis. The only condition is that _________ learns how to work her udders. They didn't teach him that in metropolitan Basle.

Fill in the blank and tell me which incident is being described.

3. Sylvester Stallone, Madonna, Kevin Costner, Bo Derek have a dubious distinction to their name. What?

4. Lintas was working on a brief for a bike to flaunt its great mileage and great power.
