India One Shot

Orissa has an ancient maritime legacy. There was a time when not a sail unfurled in the Bay of Bengal without the blessings of the Rajas of Kalinga. Every winter on Kaarthick Purnima ships set sail for South East Asia. The festival celebrating this event takes its name from the ceremonial planting of various grains in wet sand, though some scriptures claim it gets its name from the destination the ships sailed for. Name this festival which is still celebrated in Orissa with great pomp?
