C'mon, koi toh try karo. Its a Republic Day Special!
This can be laterally connected to Republic Day. But NO direct connection.
Googling is allowed.
I'll post the answer after one week.

This may sound silly... but... DRDO? The thingie on the right looks a bit like a projectile on a coordinate graph with three straight lines possibly representing three stage rockets?

hmmm.. leave alone googling, even after scouring the depths of the internet i fail to identify it. I hit upon an interesting flag identifying tool though, someone might be interested in visiting it-->

The Answer:

Jammu & Kashmir.

Article 370 gives J&K the right to an independent flag.

red -> labour
3 stripes -> Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh
right side -> a white plough with the handle facing the stripes
